SUMÉ: SOUND OF A REVOLUTION
1h 13m
74 min. documentary
A successful rock band from Greenland? Yes, it's not a lie. From 1973 to 1976, the Greenlandic rock band Sumé released three albums and changed the history of Greenland. But Sumé’s success was not just due to their catchy beat rock, but also to the band's ability to put words to the zeitgeist, where Greenlandic culture was slowly fading away.
