Statement of the director:
Repeated promises by the Ukrainian government to initiate genuine reforms remain unfulfilled. In the future, this may result in the suspension of Western financial aid, which will inevitably lead to a deep financial crisis.

It is obvious that victory in the war against Russia is the main goal of all citizens of Ukraine. But an equally important goal is the desire of Ukrainians to become part of the European Union. There are certain problems with the realization of this wish, which consist in the inability of Ukrainians to resist the manipulations by shady politicians.

As a result of post-war elections, a populist government will once again come to power and the country may find itself in a deep socio-economic crisis, which will contribute to the emigration processes and the destruction of families. I am going to focus on this problem in my film TO THE VICTORY!
Why did I set this story in the future?

I have a successful experience of creating a dystopia in the film ATLANTIS, where based on obvious events that have already taken place, I managed to make predictions about the future aggravation of the situation.

I also get the opportunity to model events based on trends. I can freely interpret reality and generalize current problems. I get a lot of space for creativity as well as the ability to warn the viewers about the danger in the future. Perhaps, even influencing the future choices.

I am sure we will win.

I am afraid that we will lose the chance to become a civilized, truly democratic country.
