When Miguel, an architect, accepts a prestigious yet morally ambiguous offer to build a survivalist bunker for a tech billionaire, his wife, Sofia, begins to question their relationship after seventeen years together.
Having uprooted their lives to move to London in pursuit of Miguel’s dream of becoming a renowned architect, the couple is forced to confront whether they still share the same aspirations, values, and vision for the future as Miguel becomes increasingly consumed by the project.
Sofia no longer recognizes the man she calls her husband, but she, too, has changed, finding herself at an invisible crossroads in her life. Her inner conflict deepens when she meets a young American writer passing through London. He gives voice to the very feelings she has been unable to express, rekindling aspirations she believed she had left behind.
Miguel and Sofia’s growing distance is echoed by an unsettling encroachment on their privacy: their neighbor begins constructing a window that looks directly into their home. The intrusion becomes another source of conflict for the couple, revealing not only how they have been gradually drifting apart, but also how their views of the world have become increasingly misaligned.
BUNKER is a dramatic thriller that examines the emotional and moral challenges faced by a couple as the anxieties of an increasingly uncertain world begin to reshape their marriage, exploring the fears, doubts, and ethical dilemmas that define our time.
