37th European Film Awards - Lucerne, 7 December 2024
On 7 December 2024, the European Film Academy revealed the winners of the 37th European Film Awards, honouring the best of European cinema. 1.200 international guests, nominees and presenters celebrated the winners in 22 categories during a festive ceremony at the KKL Luzern on the shores of Lake Lucerne in Switzerland.
With five awards (European Film, Director, Screenwriter, Actress and the Excellence Award for European Editing) EMILIA PÉREZ was the winner with most awards. The celebration marked the sparkling highlight and conclusion of the Academy’s initiative MONTH OF EUROPEAN FILM that kicked off a month earlier. The gala was streamed and broadcast live by 30 partners from 18 countries across Europe.
